Join Alex for an in person workshop centered around off camera flash and continuous lighting. Watch as Alex demonstrates how she utilizes 1-5 lights to create scroll stopping imagery with endless possibilities. This workshop will include four unique setups to practice lighting while using a variety of modifiers and tools. During the instruction, Alex will guide you on how she styles her scenes while also making sure her lighting compliments each image to maximize impact.

We will start the workshop with one light and build onto that for ultimate creative control. Alex will guide you through her thought process and show you exactly why each light and modifier matters. The ultimate goal is to show you how to nail your lighting in camera, take creative risks, and ultimately cut down your editing time. After the workshop, Alex will also provide a Dropbox folder for all attendees with a checklist PDF and one full edit of each of the sets.

This two day workshop will take place in Oklahoma City. Geekoto will provide triggers and lighting equipment for all attending photographers. Additionally, Prism Lens FX will provide filters for attendees to test out the various lens filters Alex regularly utilizes to achieve specific looks in camera. This workshop will have professional models styled to perfection to ensure you walk away with unique images that will leave you inspired and motivated to create your own scroll stopping images. Each student will have ample time to work with the lighting and models to capture their own images. This workshop is for all levels but attendees must be able to shoot in manual mode.

Students will be responsible for their own travel, lodging, and food but an optional group dinner will take place at the end of day two. This workshop is limited to 8 attendees so there will be plenty of time to take your own images at each set. Light snacks and drinks will be provided during the studio session.
